58 Disc Filter , with its high flow rate feature, is specially designed for digital ink-jet printers, who require high-speed printing, specifically printers with StarFire TM 1024 printhead including digital ceramic printers, textile printers, wide format printers, and UV fiatbed printers. This disc filter, usually installed before the printhead, is able to remove impurities from ink and prevent clogging.
With a large filtration area up to 17.3cm² and a high flow rate up to 70ml/min (viscosity @ 10cps and pressure @50mbar),
the disc lters meet ink volume requirements used in high-speed printing. The internal flow design removes bubbles that
could negatively affect printing.
End users do not have to screw the filter completely in to connect with the printhead since the outlet design allowsfor flexibility.
This eliminates the tube-twisting problem, which could cause leaking.
With a male large bore connector, the filter directly connects to the printhead, which eliminates the need for additional connectors and leaks. The connected filter will stay vertical to maximize its effective filtration areadue to an outer 2mm device affixed to the filter.
